Starting over

Welcome to my new blog.

'Phil-ing in the Blanks,' an award-winning blog that was discontinued by the Daily Gazette in Schenectady, NY last week following my sudden departure from the newspaper, has now become, 'My Phil-osophy.'

It is my intention to keep you up to date on the Albany River Rats, Adirondack Phantoms and the rest of the American Hockey League, as well as thoroughbred racing.

    I can't tell you how excited I am to see that you're blogging still. My opinion? Very poor decision by the Gazette to let you go. Your blog and articles were the only reason that I read that paper.

    I'm glad to see you up and running here. I'm going to pass along the link to several people who I know would love to keep reading.

    Yo Phil, glad to see you ae doing something you love to do...plus it helps keep your mind fresh and busy...I too agree with Sandpiper214, but then again none of us are the people who actually own ( or think they own) the gazette...now grant you there will never be a putlitzer or nobel prizes for blogging in my lifetime, but I gotz faith !!
